StringToJSON

Terms

Terms of use.

Last updated: August 2026

Acceptance

By using StringToJSONOnline you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

The service

StringToJSONOnline provides free, browser-based tools for converting, formatting, validating and escaping JSON. All processing happens on your device; the site stores none of your content. It is offered without registration and without charge.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use the site for any unlawful purpose.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt the site's availability for other people.
  • You are responsible for the data you paste. If your organisation restricts where production data may be processed, confirm that a client-side tool satisfies that policy before using it.

No warranty

The site is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Output is produced by your browser's own JSON implementation, but no guarantee is made that it is correct or suitable for your use. Verify results before relying on them in production.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operators of StringToJSONOnline are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site — including data loss.

Availability and changes

The site may be modified, interrupted or discontinued at any time without notice. These terms may be updated; the date above reflects the current version.

Accuracy of the guides

The language guides on this site describe the standard libraries and common packages of Python, JavaScript, Java, C#, PHP, Go and several SQL engines. Those change. Code samples are written against current stable versions at the time of writing and are offered as illustration, not as production-ready code — check them against your own version's documentation before relying on them, and do not treat any of it as security advice.

Data you paste

Because the tools run entirely in your browser, nothing you paste is transmitted, stored or seen by anyone operating this site. You remain solely responsible for what you choose to process and for complying with whatever policies govern that data in your organisation. If your employer restricts where production data may be handled, confirm that a client-side tool satisfies that restriction before using one.

Intellectual property

The site's design, text and code belong to their respective owners. Content you paste remains entirely yours — it is never transmitted, stored or claimed.
